PACIFIC NORTHWEST BOXING WALL OF FAME:                                                       In recent days, a decision was made to set-up a Pacific Northwest Boxing Wall Of Fame to recognize outstanding boxers, coaches and other builders of amateur and professional boxing which includes British Columbia, Alberta, Washington State, Idaho and Oregon.

Some of the nominated candidates include, Al Hostak, Andy Kendall, Bert Lowes, Billy Townsend, Boone Kirkman. Dave Brown, Denny Moyer, Eddie Cotton, Eddie Haddad, Fraser Scott, Freddy Steele, Greg Haugen,  

Jimmy McLarnin,    Joe Clough  Kai Yip, Leo Randolph, Ray Lampkin, Rick Duff, Ritchie Sue,   Rocky  Lockridge, Scotty Olson,  Sugar Ray Seales, Thad Spencer, Tod Morgan, Tommy Paonessa & Wilfie Greaves

As of January 22, 2022, there are 26 possible names. Other names may be added for year one

As a preliminary step the BOXING BC HALL OF FAME has listed 25 names of boxers & builders.

Halls & Walls of British Columbia and Canadian Halls of Fame: by Brian Zelley.

BC  and Canadian Boxing Halls & Walls of Fame:                                                                                                                                                                January and February 2022 will be an important time period to recognize many former boxers and builders.  These will include              1. B C Amateur Boxing Hall of Fame, 2. Vancouver Island Boxing Hall of Fame , 3. Canadian Amateur Boxing Wall of Fame  and       4. the potential BOXING BC HALLOF FAME.                      

The names of various inductees will be listed on this blog after the results are approved.  To-date, we have not received much news from BOXING BC concerning their potential year one Inductees or potential Nominees, but should be public in February

Two Boxing Organization In The Mix: by Brian Zelley

The Two Club Choices for 2022 Vancouver Boxing Hall of Fame is the London Boxing Club/Victoria Athletics VS Nanaimo Boxing Club

Only two of us in BC or Vancouver Island have been members of the two organizations,  Dan Wright and Brian Zelley.                                                                London Boxing Club was the top club in the Sixties but by 1970 the club dropped Boxing but revived support of it in 1974. And in 1976, the London club would change to the Victoria Athletic Association.  The three coaches would be Mike Caird, Lou Bujdoso, Brian Zelley                    The Nanaimo Boxing Club was founded in 1971. Dan Wright & Brian Zelley.
