There will be BC amateur boxing action and activity on Saturday and Sunday,
and based on the early reports the tournament will help to select the BC boxers
for the Canadian Games.
Co-Host Club: KELOWNA BOXING CLUB and THISTLETOWN BOXING CLUB.
One of the expected important moments of the tournament will be the presentation
of the Special Award to honour the late Thistletown boxer KIRBY FAHLMAN.
Coach of the Thistletown Boxing Club is GRAHAM MCINTOSH
The tournament is the first of the BOXING BC "Road To Glory' 2010/2011.
Two of the expected boxers will be KEN LALLY and JAG SEEHRA OF
Prince George.
DAVID HABIB of the KELOWNA BOXING CLUB has indicated that boxers
MICHAEL CLARK and DANIEL LAMBERT are expected to see action.
Three boxers are expected to appear from Vancouver's
ASTORIA FRASER ARMS BOXING CLUB including JAIME WARD.
