Sobral keeping sweet science alive in Vancouver
* the above story is a nice story, but it overlooks the important
years of the boxing club 1966 to 1976.
A story in the "Vancouver Sun" that can wipe away the first
eleven years of the history of the club and even to minimize
the person the event was recognizing is bad reporting. And, those
early years of the Boyce family and many others were good years
for the club and should not be overlooked.
Faces From The Past:
Nafiz Ahmed, Rick Fleck and Wayne Boyce. Billy Taylor and Wayne Boyce
were current Canadian Amateur Boxing Champions.
